After your first treatment you will return for a second session to perfect the brows before they are considered complete. After that the results from your powder brows or ombre brows treatment should last up to 2 years. A top up is recommended after 12-18 months to maintain your results and refresh the colour.
If you like low-maintenance beauty routines, you might choose ombre powder because it lasts longer and needs less touching up than microblading.
It’s also believed that the technique used for ombre brows are less invasive than that of microblading. However remember that both are a type of tattoo that gives semi-permanent brows.
Do my existing eyebrows need to be shaved off for ombre powder brows. Most definitely NOT! Please do not tweeze, thread, wax or modify your eyebrows in any way for as long as possible before your appointment. This will allow for your artist to custom a brow design that blends in with your natural hair growth.
Most clients opt for their first touch up around the 12-16 month mark to refresh the Ombré results. At 24 months, the brows are likely extremely faded and light. Some residual vestige of the powdered shading usually remains if you look closely, but the overall effect is very subtle without a touch-up.
How long does it take for ombre brows to look natural? 4-6 weeks you will need your top up treatment week 4-6 after your 1st session.

Do powder brows look fake?
If you happen to have little to no hair, Powdered Brows are great for you as it provides a more shaded look, will give you a more realistic looking eyebrow in comparison to a tattoo. On the contrary to what people may believe, hair strokes in your eyebrows will just look silly.
How do you sleep with ombre eyebrow powder?
In the initial healing stages, try to sleep on your back. For side-sleepers, consider using bandaids to protect the brow ends, ensuring adhesive doesn’t touch the brows.
Do powder brows go patchy?
The scabbing stage is done and your eyebrows might look patchy and too light. Don’t freak out and think that your powder brows disappeared! They appear too light because your skin forms new layers over the pigment. The color will come back and the touch up will fix up the patches.
